The Gondola Shelving is referred to as a Island Shelving becasue it stands in the center of the floor on as an island type providing product display on both sides, rather than a one sided unit such a Lozier Wall Unit, that is used mostly against the wall around hte perimeter of the store.

Lozier Gondola shelves and shelving are strong, versatile and durable. Each shelf has slim sturdy, multi-position steel brackets that allow the shelf to be used in multiple merchandising arrangements. The shelf diversity provides increased product visibility while reducing the wasted space caused by bulky brackets.
A Gondola Section is composed of many components. It includes one Basic Upright with two Base Brackets, two Base Shelves, two Kick plates, two Back Panels and one Top, Center, and Lower Rail. If the Gondola is 78" tall or taller, the section would also include one Splicer Rail for two piece backs. An Island End Unit provides the required additional Upright with the two Base Brackets and two Upright End Trims. One Island End Unit is required at the end of each run.
There is a full range of sizes available to suit specific needs. Lozier Gondola Island store shelving have height starting at 36 inches to a maximum height of 96 inches, a deck base starting at 12 inches deep and a maximum depth of 30 inches per Gondola side.
